Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools are prepared and sterilized. Manage patient records and maintain accurate medical histories in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed for diagnosis. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with aseptic techniques. Schedule appointments and manage the flow of patients in the office effectively. Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary to ensure their comfort and safety. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care. Qualifications Experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred. Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures is essential. Familiarity with Eagle soft for managing patient records is highly desirable. Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance is important. Prosthodontics experience is a plus but not required.
