Overview We are seeking a dedicated and kind Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. We are willing to train the candidate who is passionate about creating amazing smiles. Exceptional patient care is a must. You should have your RDA, or be on a trajectory to be licensed within 4 months - this includes X-ray certificate and other needed work and licensing pre-reqs. Responsibilities Work with our administrative and clinical team and doctors to deliver incredible patient care Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Perform infection control measures in accordance with established protocols. Manage patient records using Dolphin Management software Educate patients and parents on proper care for orthodontic appliances and oral hygiene practices. Participate in practice marketing and community outreach initiatives to grow the business Maintain an organized and clean clinic environment. Qualifications Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. RDA or OA license preferred (or trajectory) Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
