Overview At Main Street Pediatric Dentistry our mission is to make dentistry "fun" for our most precious patients. We are seeking an experienced RDH to join our team on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Candidate should love working with children, be comfortable working with parents to help their children achieve optimal dental health and like working in a true team environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient exams, review medical histories. Perform dental cleanings with the support of patients and their parents. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits to maintain optimal health. Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for documentation review and management of patient records. Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing chairside support during treatments for children, ensuring a comfortable experience. Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, terminology, and best practices to enhance patient care delivery. Skills Proficiency in using PMS (Dentrix) systems for effective patient record management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and pediatric dentistry practices. Excellent communication skills for educating patients about their oral health and treatment options. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care. Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred, demonstrating a solid understanding of daily operations.
