We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care, with expertise in dental hygiene procedures, infection control, and patient education. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive oral health services, supporting general dentistry operations, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and polishing to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, medical history review, and dental examinations. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care tailored to individual needs. Assist with chairside procedures in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry settings using four-handed dentistry techniques. Manage medical imaging procedures such as X-rays while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Document patient information accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Review medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate medical coding. Support infection control procedures and maintain sterilization standards across the dental practice. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations. Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting, with familiarity in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred. Proficiency in using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation and record management. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices. Experience with dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting and aseptic procedures. Strong understanding of medical imaging procedures and vital signs monitoring. Prior experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment is highly desirable. Certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist from an accredited program is required.
