Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, patient assessment, and infection control protocols. Experience with EMR systems such as Dentrix, as well as pediatric dentistry expertise, is highly preferred. The Registered Dental Hygienist will collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure optimal oral health outcomes for patients of all ages. Key Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and preventive care Take and develop digital dental X-rays Provide laser periodontal therapy as part of treatment plans Educate patients on oral hygiene and care Chart periodontal conditions and assist during exams Follow infection control and OSHA/Dental Board standards Requirements Required Qualifications Current California RDH license in good standing Laser certification required CPR/BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) Strong communication and patient care skills Experience with dental software preferred; new grads welcome Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and proper medical record documentation practices Previous experience with dental assisting, chairside assisting, or dental clinic operations is advantageous Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in a fast-paced setting Pay: From $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week Ability to Commute: La Canada Flintridge, CA 91011 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
