Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) North County Aesthetics & Implants – San Marcos / Rancho Bernardo, CA Position Overview North County Aesthetics & Implants is seeking an exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our high-end Fee-for, patient-centered dental practice. This role is designed for a clinician who values clinical excellence, autonomy, evidence-based care, and long-term patient relationships. We are not a volume-driven hygiene mill. Our hygiene department is a cornerstone of comprehensive care, prevention, and long-term treatment success. The ideal candidate practices at a high clinical standard, communicates confidently with patients, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, ethical dentistry. Core Responsibilities Perform comprehensive adult and periodontal hygiene care, including: Prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing Periodontal charting and risk assessment Intraoral and extraoral examinations Acquire high-quality diagnostic records: Digital radiographs (FMX, BWX, PAs) and Intraoral photography Educate patients on: Oral hygiene techniques Periodontal disease etiology and progression Systemic links to oral health Identify, document, and communicate clinical findings clearly to the doctor and team Support comprehensive treatment planning through accurate diagnostics and patient education Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in the electronic dental record Adhere to all OSHA, CDC, and California Dental Board standards Uphold the practice’s Ideal Standard of Care in all clinical and interpersonal interactions Clinical Philosophy Expectations Patient-first, prevention-driven mindset Ethical, evidence-based decision making Strong emphasis on quality over speed Comfort working in a comprehensive, implant- and restorative-focused practice Willingness to grow clinically and professionally as systems evolve Required Qualifications Active California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license Current CPR/BLS certification Strong periodontal knowledge and clinical skillset Excellent communication and patient education skills High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the clinical team Preferred (Not Required) Experience in comprehensive or specialty-driven practices Familiarity with digital workflows and modern dental technology Interest in long-term growth within a progressive practice Local anesthesia and/or laser certification (if applicable) Schedule & Employment Type Full-time or part-time opportunities available Consistent schedule with respect for work-life balance No double-booking or high-pressure volume demands Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation, commensurate with experience Paid time off and holidays (for eligible employees) Supportive, respectful work environment Long-term stability and growth opportunities Practice culture built on professionalism, teamwork, and mutual respect Why Join North County Aesthetics & Implants?
