Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (Bilingual Spanish Required)Job Type Part-time 1-2 days per week (day flexible) Possible additional days in the future Pay $55–$65 per hour , based on experience+ incentive bonus Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our general dental practice on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for a hygienist who is confident managing hygiene patients independently while also supporting the doctor when needed. Spanish fluency is required due to our diverse patient population. There is potential for additional days in the future based on office needs and performance. Key Responsibilities Independently manage hygiene patients from start to finish, including: Seating patients Taking X-rays, pano, and intraoral photos Performing dental cleanings (prophy, scaling, and root planing) Providing oral hygiene instructions and post-treatment education Scheduling follow-up or recall appointments prior to patient dismissal Conduct patient assessments including medical history review, vital signs, and oral health evaluations Accurately complete perio charting, clinical notes, and hygiene appointments using Open Dental Maintain strict compliance with infection control standards and HIPAA regulations Assist the doctor during busy schedules when needed, including: Packing retraction cord/ Taking final crown impressions Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment Qualifications Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (required) Fluent in Spanish and English (required) Strong working knowledge of Open Dental Ability to work independently and manage hygiene patients without assistance Solid understanding of dental terminology, radiography, anatomy, and infection control Experience assisting with general dentistry procedures (cord packing, final impressions) is strongly preferred Excellent communication skills and patient care mindset Why Join Us Supportive and organized general dental practice Consistent part-time schedule with opportunity for additional days Competitive hourly pay Opportunity to utilize both hygiene and expanded clinical skills Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week Language: Spanish (Preferred) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred) Work Location: In person
