Overview We are seeking a skilled Orthodontist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional orthodontic care and improving patients' oral health. Responsibilities - Perform orthodontic assessments and create treatment plans for patients - Install and adjust orthodontic appliances such as braces, retainers, and aligners - Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment - Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with medical documentation standards Skills - Proficiency in general dentistry with a focus on orthodontics - Knowledge of CAD software for treatment planning - Familiarity with medical documentation practices and HIPAA regulations - Ability to perform dental fabrication for orthodontic appliances - Experience working with pediatric patients in an orthodontic setting - Competency in taking vital signs and applying aseptic techniques - Proficient in interpreting medical imaging related to orthodontic treatment - Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $1,500.00 per day Ability to Commute: La Puente, CA 91744 (Required) Ability to Relocate: La Puente, CA 91744: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
