Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the delivery of exceptional dental care. In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with infection control protocols. Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including preventative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and surgical dentistry by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and providing chairside support. Take dental radiographs (X-ray imaging) while adhering to safety standards Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft, Ensure strict adherence to infection control standards, including sterilization procedures and maintaining a clean clinical environment. Assist with dental procedures involving advanced technology such as 3D scanners Educate patients on post-treatment care, dental terminology, and preventive practices to promote oral health awareness. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records and supporting administrative functions. Dental assisting experience a plus, but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right person. Bilingual a plus.
