We are looking to add a friendly and professional clinical team member to better serve our growing patient population. We are a small private general dental practice that offers a one-stop shop for our patients - including implants, oral surgery with sedation, clear aligners, Botox & dermal filler esthetics, cosmetic treatments, and more. As such, we are looking for an assistant who is dependable and excited to educate our patients on all facets of dental health solutions. This position requires availability to work 7 AM to 5:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Assistants of all experience levels are welcome to apply - we want new team members who exhibit a positive, respectful attitude with a willingness to learn and desire to grow in the dental field. In this position, you will: Provide operatory and chairside assistance to our general dentists for all procedures Manage patient expectations; educate patients on preventative and post-procedure protocols Demonstrate competency in Dentrix electronic record keeping including appointment scheduling, charting, medical history, and software maintenance Deliver excellent patient care through good customer service Maintain clinic compliance with infection control and healthcare safety guidelines Participate in paid group training to increase efficiency with digital dentistry workflows and new practice software Take intraoral/extraoral photos, analog and digital impressions for patient treatment planning Monitor office material stock and manage supply ordering Sterilize and organize instrumentation throughout the workday Preferred to have: X-ray certification Possession of a valid license or eligible for licensure as a Dental Assistant by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry Reliable transportation to commute to Minnetonka, MN 55305 office location Availability to work 8-10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday While we prioritize a patient-first mentality at our office, we believe that the employee experience is just as important!
