Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour Job description: Dental Hygienist Full-Time | Outpatient Setting | Akron, OH area We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join a mission-driven team serving diverse patients in an outpatient setting. In this role, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Dentist and contribute to improving community oral health through preventive care, education, and high-quality hygiene services. Key Responsibilities: Conduct digital radiography and maintain accurate electronic dental records Review patients’ oral health histories and screen for periodontal disease Perform thorough hygiene services, including deep cleanings (scaling and root planing) Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including brushing and flossing techniques Assist Dentists during exams as needed Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and ensure instrument sterilization per OSHA standards Keep accurate and detailed charting for each patient Support a consistent re-care system, including regular reporting Maintain a team-oriented, patient-focused approach to care Qualifications: Completion of an ADA-accredited Dental Hygiene program Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred but not required Active Dental Hygienist license in the State of Ohio or willing to obtain Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision Commitment to maintaining professional standards and compliance protocols Why Join Us?
