Dental Financial and Insurance Coordinator - Union Orthodontics + Pediatric Dentistry - Denver, CO

Being a dual specialty practice, our board-certified doctors provide dental care to patients with a broad age range. In order to provide the highest level of patient care and attention to detail, our team works together closely to ensure the needs of our patients are being met at the highest level possible. We are seeking a detail-oriented person to fulfill a vital role within our office as our Financial and Insurance Coordinator . Our Financial and Insurance Coordinator will work closely with our entire team, helping with all things pertaining to insurance benefits, patient financials, office financials, EFTs, checks, and patient accounts, and communicating this information with our Doctors and Front Desk team. Responsibilities Provide amazing customer service Provide help for families needing a better understanding of their orthodontic or pediatric dental insurance benefits Work closely with the Front Desk team to ensure verification of insurance benefits for all new patients Communicate insurance benefits with our Front Desk team and Treatment Coordinator to ensure accuracy for all new patients Coordinate patient payments for the day of their appointments File insurance claims and provide follow-up to ensure accuracy Organize and process all incoming checks and EFTs Process monthly payments for orthodontic patients. Monitor and update patient and insurance ledgers Manage Accounts Receivables Run reports as needed pertaining to office financials Respond to any and all financial inquiries Provide insurance/financial updates to doctors at monthly meetings Qualifications Strong affinity for details Hardworking and dependable Excellent communicative skills A dedication to finishing projects in a timely manner Knowledge of dental insurance and commitment to learning Energetic attitude that helps with multitasking between different insurance and financial aspects Friendly and cooperative attitude with the ability to work well in teams Compensation$25 - $35 hourly Our company culture is rooted in our core values of patient-centered care, as well as providing the best customer service possible.
