Overview: Experienced EFDA Dental Assistant â Full Time Location: Grants Pass, OR | Timber Kids Dentistry Schedule: Monday â Friday | 7:30 AM â 5:30 PM Compensation: $20 â $24 per hour (DOE) This role is ideal for an experienced EFDA as well as seasoned dental assistants who are actively working toward their EFDA certification and are ready to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the following: Providing advanced chairside support in a pediatric dental setting Performing EFDA-approved duties in compliance with Oregon regulations (as applicable) Assisting with restorative procedures and treatment support Taking digital x-rays and maintaining accurate clinical documentation Anticipating provider needs to support smooth, efficient patient flow Helping children and parents feel comfortable through calm, confident communication Maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment Contributing to a positive, team-oriented workplace Qualifications: You will be required to possess the following: Active Oregon EFDA certification or be a dental assistant actively pursuing EFDA certification Prior dental assisting experience (required) Pediatric dental experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of clinical workflows and infection control standards Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, professional demeanor Reliability, consistency, and a long-term mindset
