Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas for patient procedures. Take and record medical histories, vital signs, and other necessary patient information. Manage medical records accurately, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, applying sealants, and assisting with fillings. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols. Support pediatric dentistry efforts by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred. We do welcome less experienced dental assistants who can grow along with our fast paced environment. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures is essential. Familiarity with medical coding practices is a plus. Experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members professionally. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is an advantage.
