Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Clearwater, FL
Overview: Bright Now! Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Clearwater, FL. This role is ideal for a confident assistant with strong chairside skills who is comfortable supporting providers in a fast-paced, patient-focused practice. Schedule (days/hours): Monday through Friday 8am-5pm Responsibilities: Provide four-handed dentistry support during a wide range of procedures Perform accurate charting and demonstrate strong knowledge of dental terminology Take alginate impressions and assist with the fabrication of temporary restorations Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments Assist with case presentations and treatment planning when needed Educate patients on procedures and post-treatment care Maintain infection control, sterilization, and safety standards Qualifications: EFDA Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date) Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (âPTOâ), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
