EFDA Responsibilities Welcome children and parents with a warm smile and energetic nature =) Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Clean and polish coronal surfaces of teeth to remove stains, apply fluoride treatment Apply sealants Take impressions Knowledge of placing composite resins, SSCs, amalgams, space maintainers Prepare the treatment rooms for dental or operative procedures Review patient charts /records Take x-rays (intraoral and pans). Take intra-oral photos Provide assistance to the dentist during dental treatment procedures Assist dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies Provide oral hygiene and postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist Sterilize instruments according to regulations Keep the dental room and lab clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Requirements Current licensure as an EFDA in the state of Pennsylvania Demonstrated desire to work in a PEDIATRIC setting High school diploma or equivalent Radiology certification CPR certification Job Type: Full-time Pay: $31.00 - $33.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
