Full job description Bluebird Family Dental is currently looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral hygiene practices. We are a growing practice in Nazareth, PA and are looking for someone who wants to grow with our practice. We care about our patients and hope to develop long term relationships. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Document patient care accurately maintain comprehensive patient records. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, periodontitis and dental caries Educate patients of all ages on proper oral care Take X-rays or dental impressions/scans Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Experience Valid PA Dental Hygienist license Knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Familiarity with Open Dental software is an advantage.
