Our mission is to cultivate a concierge-like experience, focusing on personalized andâ¨high-quality patient care. We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our Oral Surgery practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, knowledge of surgical procedures. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. This job requires commuting between our Westport, CT and Darien, CT offices. **Responsibilities:** - Assist doctor during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs. - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations. - Take x-rays. - Sterilize instruments and equipment. - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices. - Maintain accurate patient records. - Assist with medical documentation and record keeping. - Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures. - Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment. - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols. **Qualifications:** - Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred but willing to train the right candidate- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with medical records management is a plus.
