Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Periodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in periodontal care and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases, performing surgical procedures, and collaborating with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to diagnose periodontal conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans that may include non-surgical and surgical interventions. Perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgeries as needed. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and infection control. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, and other specialists to provide integrated care for patients. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of periodontal health. Stay current with advancements in periodontics, including new technologies and treatment methodologies. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice as a Periodontist. Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols. Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in performing complex procedures such as dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and root canal therapy. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and comfort during treatment. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $180,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
