As a Dental Hygienist at our office, you'll provide treatments for patients, administer x-rays and educate patients about oral health. The Dental Hygienist will support the success of our Dentists by proactively advising patients on preventive care and treatment options, as well as answering any questions they might have. Responsibilities: Maintain a clean, sterile environment for the treatment of patients. Properly use equipment for dental hygiene procedures. Maintain good dental hygiene. Explain procedures and perform preventative treatment procedures as instructed by a licensed dentist. Explain a patient's dental hygiene conditions to a dentist or other healthcare provider. Handle emergency situations involving dental hygiene. Perform professional licensing and disciplinary sanction checks on employees to ensure they are capable of performing their job duties.
