Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) - Ottesen Family Dentistry - Niceville, FL

We are Ottesen Family Dentistry in Niceville, Florida. We are looking for a hygienist to work full time Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our office hours are 7am-3pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and 7-1pm on Thursdays. We are not a corporate dental practice. We are a private general practice with a fantastic reputation for our quality care and exceptional friendliness. Our patients enjoy their time with us and especially with our hygienists. Full Time hygienist pay rate will apply to this position. Weekly hours are CONSISTENT. 32-36 hours per week with an hour lunch break. Requirements for employment include: · Remarkable friendliness and personality · Knowledge of oral health and ability to educate in a kind manner · Team-based attitude, willingness to cooperate and pitch in · Competent in digital charts, typing 50+ WPM and navigating computer software (Eaglesoft) · Knowledge of prophylaxis, SRP, periodontal disease diagnosing and treatment (We utilize Air Flow guided biofilm therapy with erythritol powder which offers a more gentle debridement.) · State license in dental hygiene · Licensed in administering nitrous oxide and local anesthetics · CPR certification · Fluoride and sealant application · Maintaining and sterilizing dental instruments · Taking health histories and medical records · Probing measurements · Making people laugh!
