Our well-established Miami Lakes dental office is hiring a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team for THURSDAYS. We are a family-oriented practice that provides a caring environment for dental and orthodontic patients. We treat both adults and children. Our hygienist should be fluent in English and Spanish. Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take dental x-rays and conduct oral cancer screenings with visual exams - Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions - Administer local anesthesia for scaling and root planings, if you have the anesthesia certification - Maintain accurate patient records - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment - Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Experience: - Preferably 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail - Current CPR certification Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 7.5 – 8.5 per week Work Location: In person
