Associate Dentist - Northwest Family Dental - Fort Worth, TX

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dentistry and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As an Associate Dentist, you will work closely with our team to diagnose and treat dental conditions, promote oral health, and educate patients on proper dental hygiene. Duties: - Perform dental examinations, including x-rays and oral cancer screenings - Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay - Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals - Create treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software Dentrix - Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a sterile working environment - Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education courses Qualifications: - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Valid state dental license - Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work well within a team environment We offer competitive compensation If you are a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing quality dental care, we would love to hear from you.
