We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist who wants to help our dental office team serve our patients with kindness and trust. The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, highly organized and able to multitask. This position is an integral part of the practice, one requiring great patient skills and caring nature. Responsibilities include: Perform dental cleanings and scaling Accurately chart perio findings Educate patients on oral hygiene practices Take X-rays Maintain accurate patient clinical records Prepare patient for appointment Schedule future appointments Keep operatory clean and stocked Properly perform sterilization duties Present treatment plans to patients Other assigned tasks as needed Qualifications: A true desire to help patients with their dental needs Thorough knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, instruments, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask while staying organized Willingness to create a warm, positive and supportive environment for both patients and team members CPR Certification Active Dental Hygienist License (Required) X-ray Certification (Required) Nitrous Certification (Required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $41.00 - $43.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
