This role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to assist with complex surgical procedures, ensuring smooth operations and optimal patient outcomes.We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Dental Assistant with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in digital implant workflows, specifically for All-on-X full-arch surgeries to join our surgical team. As a key member of our team, you will provide chairside assistance during surgical treatments, maintain strict infection control protocols, and support the dental team with administrative and clinical tasks. This role is integral to the success of surgical and prosthetic phases, and demands precision, digital fluency, and surgical competence. Your dedication will help us deliver top-tier dental care while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our patients. Duties SURGICAL CHAIRSIDE ASSISTANCE: - Assist during All-on-X and single implant surgeries: surgery setup, suction, retraction, irrigation, and instruments. - Maintain a sterile field and strict infection control. - Set up surgical trays, guided kits, photogrammetry gear, and implant components. -Take digital radiographs, digital scan impressions, and intraoral scans as needed -Provide patients with clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions -Monitor and support patients during procedures with care and compassion -Maintain accurate and detailed treatment notes and records -Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols -Collaborate with the surgical and administrative teams to deliver seamless patient care IMAGING: - Capture CBCT scans for planning and follow-up. - Take digital x-rays with correct technique. PRE/POST-OP COORDINATION: - Assist with surgical setup, monitoring prep, and patient positioning. - Provide detailed post-op instructions and support recovery.
