Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs. Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft. Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure patient safety. Monitor and document medical imaging results, vital signs, and other relevant health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials. Proven experience in general dentistry. Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for documentation review and record keeping. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients of all ages about their oral health needs.
