This position offers assisted hygiene , allowing the hygienist to focus on patient care while being supported with room turnover, sterilization, and operatory setup. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support the overall health and well-being of our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a team. Experience with EMR systems and knowledge of pediatric dentistry are highly valued. Looking to hire for Thursdays and every other Friday. Duties Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive treatments. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history and vital signs, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Assist with patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Ensure the clinical environment adheres to OSHA standards and infection control guidelines. Stay current with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advances in dental technology to provide the highest level of patient care.
