About us Texas TMJ Sleep & Facial Pain has an opening for a take-charge decision-make Registered Dental Assistant in Southlake, TX. We are a specialist practice dedicated to Orofacial pain/TMJ and dental sleep medicine. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take x-ray : CBCT - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care - Perform receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an registered dental assistant certification - X-Ray certification - Knowledge of dental/medical terminology, procedures, and instruments - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with medical coding and documentation is a plus - Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems is a plus Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
