The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and dental health, with the ability to assist dentists in providing high-quality dental services. **Duties: ** - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations Follow strict OSHA guidelines for infection control - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental X-rays - Maintain accurate patient records - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Schedule patient appointments -Adjust dentures and partials -Deliver nightguard and take impressions after training -Assist in the front desk as needed and confirm appointments **Skills: ** The following skills are required or nice-to-have for this position: - Proficiency in Dental Office Software Ideally OPEN DENTAL (will train) Xray Certification - Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding - Strong understanding of infection control protocols - Experience in General Dental office dental assisting as well as Oral Surgery - Familiarity with aseptic techniques Joining our team as a Dental Assistant offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient care is paramount.
