Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Lady Bird Dental - Austin, TX

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team! This is Part-time position, that will move to part-time . We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and dedicated to creating a positive experience for our patients. Prepare patients for treatments or checkups. Select, set up, and sterilize instruments and equipment according to regulations. Assist the dentist with procedures, including four-handed dentistry. Perform lab tasks as instructed. Provide oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care guidance. Maintain a clean, well-stocked treatment area. Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records. Assist with patient procedures and take iTero scans. Skills & Qualifications: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification required. Proven experience as a dental assistant (preferred). Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and infection control. Experience with Open Dental software (preferred). Understanding of health and safety regulations. Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks (e.g., coronal polishing is a plus). Strong computer skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable. Additional certifications or training (e.g., EFDA) are a plus.
