Overview We are seeking a skilled, professional and motivated Oral Surgery Assistant to join our fast-paced oral and maxillofacial private surgery practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a surgical environment. Responsibilities Chairside assisting during oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures Four-handed dentistry in a surgical setting Maintaining sterile surgical fields and proper infection control Monitoring patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures Post-anesthesia recovery monitoring and patient discharge Pre-operative patient preparation and education Providing post-operative instructions and follow-up care Capture dental radiographs, including X-ray imaging and 3D scans, ensuring proper patient positioning and safety protocols Skills Excellent communication and patient care skills Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure surgical environment Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to multitask and adapt quickly Requirements Dental assistant certification Radiology/X-ray certification CPR/BLS certification Bilingual Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(K) How to apply Submit your resume and relevant certifications through indeed.
