DENTAL HYGIENIST Our successful Oakbrook Terrace dental office is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our State-Of-The-Art practice. If you are looking for a new dental home and have experience with identifying gum disease, periodontal conditions and defining appropriate treatment plans, we would LOVE to talk to you! New RDH Graduate welcome. Must be a dog lover because our guests love our therapy dogs. What does a great Dental Hygienist do for our team? Communicate with excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrate leadership. Work with a fun outgoing personality. Identify opportunities to discuss oral health of our patients. Relate the mouth-body connection to patients. Successfully complete a Scaling and Root Planning and/or Prophylaxis. Excel with placing fluoride varnish and sealants. Review and update dental x-rays and chart note. Record detailed narratives and probing depths. Maintain dental equipment and x-ray machine. Sterilize and maintain dental supplies. Ensure OSHA/HIPPA compliance. Understand Teeth Whitening, Home Sleep Studies, and Sleep Apnea. Knowledge of Arestin and Diode Laser Therapy is a plus. Knowledge of Curve Dental, Dentrix, Mango phone system is helpful. Current CPR Certification. Anesthetic certification a plus.
