Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and vital signs to ensure safety and personalized care Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies. Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols Review and update medical records accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) Monitor and document patient responses, vital signs, and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations Help the team and practice maintain a high standard of care for our patients and have ability to assume other roles within the practice over time Skills : Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and aseptic techniques Experience with pediatric dental patients a plus but not necessary. Skilled in chairside assisting, including handling dental instruments and supporting procedures efficiently Ability to perform patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, medical imaging, and assessing patient needs Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical coding practices for accurate documentation Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively while demonstrating professionalism and compassion We look forward to finding a caring and compassionate individual to help our practice grow and provide top-tier dental care in a supportive environment that values your expertise.
