Position Overview: The Orthodontic Technician plays a key role in supporting clinical operations by assisting with orthodontic procedures, fabricating appliances, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience for every patient. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities: Assist orthodontist during chairside procedures and adjustments. Scan for appliances. Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and materials for each appointment. Record patient treatment information accurately in the practice management system. Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols in compliance with OSHA and office standards. Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and the clinical team to ensure exceptional care. Qualifications: Previous experience as an orthodontic or dental assistant preferred. Radiography and coronal polishing certifications highly desired (or willingness to obtain). Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Positive, patient-centered attitude and commitment to quality care.
