Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Gary, IN
Duties - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and digital dental x-rays - Perform patient assessments and record medical history - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (Dentrix Ascend) Requirements Below (Must have dental assisting experience to be considered) RHS CERTIFICATION IS A PLUS - Certified Dental Assistant (CAD) preferred - Proficient in taking digital dental x-rays - Familiarity with dentrix ascend or similar dental software - Understanding of dental techniques and equipment - Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care - Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
