We're currently on the lookout for a full-time dental assistant who is passionate about making a difference in patients' lives. If you have at least one year of experience, we'd love to have you join our team! However, if you're new to the field but have a strong desire to learn and build a long-term career as a dental assistant, we're open to training the right individual. **Key Responsibilities:** - Greet and assist patients throughout their visit, ensuring a seamless experience. - Proficiently take digital x-rays, including full-mouth x-rays, bitewings, and PA's, paying special attention to accuracy. - Provide patients with pre-procedure instructions and address their questions and concerns with compassion. - Maintain thorough and clear patient dental charts. - Efficiently prepare and clean operatories, ensuring timely turnover. - Sterilize treatment instruments and run sterilization machines throughout the day. - Set up trays and operatories for patient procedures. - Keep operatories and bathrooms fully stocked and organized. - Perform deep cleans when necessary or manage inventory and order dental supplies. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with dental software, such as Dentrix, are a plus. - Learn to take dental impressions for dentures, crowns, nightguards, and bleach trays, including related lab work. - Handle post-op calls when procedures meet major surgery standards. - Collaborate with our close-knit team, stepping in where needed to support one another. **Qualifications:** We're seeking dedicated individuals who are reliable, responsible, and have strong communication skills.
