The Position: We’re looking for a FULL-TIME surgical assistant who wants to help patients receive an excellent clinical and value experience at our office. The assistant communicates with patients about their surgical treatment, vitals, home care, and future appointments, and performs various tasks required for patient care. Assistant Responsibilities : ⦁ Communication with patients to collect relevant information, taking clinical notes and charting ⦁ Assist the doctor with surgeries and post-op/follow-up visits, and schedule post-operative appointments ⦁ Review medical and dental history; and taking Vitals (ex. blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, blood sugar...) ⦁ Maintain Sterilization and lab equipment weekly; routine management of inventory and tracking supplies ⦁ Taking clinical photographs, radiographs or CT scans, digital oral scans or impressions; pouring up impressions into stone models and trimming, making surgical guides in office ⦁ Surgery and Post-Op room set up and break down, room cleaning and turnover ⦁ Escorting patients to and from treatment rooms ⦁ Discuss pre-op/post-op instructions, and patient consent forms with patients ⦁ If trained, perform coronal polishing, splint repair, or start IVs Assistant Skills and Qualities ⦁ Comprehensive clinical knowledge of dentistry ⦁ Great communication skills and ability to be Team player ⦁ Strong problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented and organized ⦁ Time Management ⦁ Self Accountability, positive friendly attitude, and enthusiasm Benefits: Paid Vacation Time-Off 7-8 Paid Holidays 401K Provided Uniforms Annual Shoe Stipend In-office Dental Benefits Bonuses available based on office and employee growth The Locations: Florence, KY (primary) Highland Heights, KY Why Should You Apply? ⦁ Work Life Balance ⦁ 4 day work week: Office hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm (20-32hours/week) ⦁ Personable Team Interested?
