Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic dental assistant/front desk with strong work ethics, excellent communication and patient care skills to join our amazing team! Our office environment is one where everyone is happy to help and we love connecting with our amazing patients. The assistant/front desk is responsible for ensuring that patients are comfortable and have a pleasant experience. We are looking for a candidate who has previously worked with a dental team, but we are willing to train the right candidate as well. Our office is open from Monday to Thursday (8-9 hours/day with time for lunch) and we are closed on Fridays! Who doesn't love a three day weekend all year round? Duties -Update and maintain patient records -Schedule and organize patient appointments -Communicate with insurance regarding patient billing -Preform routine dental cleanings - Assist with X-Rays and other diagnostic procedures - Utilize aseptic techniques to prepare treatment rooms for procedures - Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Assist with prosthodontic treatments as directed by the dentist - Apply anatomy knowledge to support dental procedures - Provide chair-side assistance during dental treatments - Support front desk operations as needed Experience - Previous experience in a dental setting is highly preferred but not required - Familiarity with dental assisting techniques and procedures is a plus - Proficiency in assisting with various dental treatments and procedures such as prosthodontics - Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques is beneficial - Strong work ethic and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment -Knowledge of technology and software (preferably Eaglesoft) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
