Part-Time Dental Assistant – Periodontal Practice We are a growing periodontal specialty practice seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a supportive team environment. Responsibilities: Assist the periodontist during examinations and surgical procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions and ensure comfort throughout their visit Maintain accurate records and support efficient patient flow Collaborate with the clinical and front office teams to provide excellent patient care Qualifications: Dental Assisting certification (DA I or DA II) required Bilingual preferred Previous dental assisting experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented attitude Willingness to travel between offices as needed Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Coronal Polishing Certification (Preferred) Schedule Full-time, about 30 hours per week Some travel between offices required Benefits: 401(k) matching Profit Sharing Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Competitive pay based on experience Supportive, professional work environment with opportunities for growth If you are a dedicated dental assistant who enjoys helping patients feel at ease while delivering exceptional care, we’d love to hear from you!
