Dental Assistant – Part-Time (Opportunity for Full-Time) Laurel, MD Monday–Friday | No Weekends We are a welcoming, small dental office in Laurel, MD looking to add a dependable Dental Assistant to our growing dental family! This position starts part-time with the opportunity to transition to full-time . We welcome entry-level and experienced candidates who are motivated, organized, and passionate about patient care. Requirements X-ray certification is required (please do not apply without it) Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the Laurel area Ability to take alginate impressions and fabricate temporary crowns Experience using an intraoral scanner is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn Responsibilities Greet and assist patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience Prepare patients for treatments and checkups Set up and break down instruments, equipment, and materials Assist the dentist during procedures Take dental X-rays as needed Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment rooms If you’re looking for a supportive team environment with weekday hours and growth potential, we’d love to hear from you.
