Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Chicago, IL
Overview: We are seeking a Dental Assistant to provide coverage a few days per week. This position is for someone who wants to pick up shifts on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years experience, confident in intraoral scanning, 4-handed dentistry, and have current coronal polishing license. Responsibilities: -Anticipate the doctor's needs during procedures - Set up and prepare equipment and instruments - Take intraoral photos and dental x-rays - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Sterilize instruments according to regulations Experience: - 3 years dental assisting experience - Ability to take photos, scans, xrays accurately - Coronal Polishing License Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Professional development assistance Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Coronal Polish Certificate (Required) Work Location: In person
