Overview Red Cedar Dentistry in Menomonie is looking for an Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! Seeking somebody who is friendly, hard-working, easy-going, and patient-focused. 1.5 hour NP, 1 hour recall, assistants available to help when needed. Great team-work. Newly built office (2018), CBCT, digital records, laser, intraoral scanner, electric handpieces, heat/massage chairs, TVs on ceilings, great reputation and fast growth! 6 OPs. Great team stability, extremely low turnover. Cloud-based dental software. Part-time or full-time position available, 1-5 days per week. Hourly pay based on experience + Bonuses. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth. Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories. Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Assist in the documentation of patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental software for scheduling, charting, and record management. Collaborate with dentists in four-handed dentistry procedures, providing chairside assistance during examinations and treatments. Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques within the dental office environment. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in pediatric dentistry as needed. Engage in medical imaging procedures when required, ensuring proper technique and safety measures are followed. Experience Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred, with familiarity in general dentistry practices. Knowledge of EMR systems and medical coding is advantageous for efficient documentation review. Experience with pediatric patients is a plus, demonstrating an ability to connect with children in a clinical setting. Strong understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques is essential for maintaining patient safety.
