Duties Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to prevent disease Take and record vital signs and medical history assessments for patients Assist with patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans Conduct dental radiographs using medical imaging techniques while maintaining aseptic technique Review patient medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations Support pediatric dentistry procedures, including pediatric patient care and behavior management Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Maintain infection control standards according to OSHA guidelines Document all procedures accurately within EMR systems such as Dentrix Review medical coding and documentation for billing purposes Ensure a sterile environment by following proper infection control protocols and maintaining aseptic technique This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient health while working in a supportive, professional setting dedicated to excellence in dental care.
