Registered Dental Hygienist - Part Time - - Michigan Center, MI

Our caring, energetic, established Family Dental Practice is looking for a Long Term addition to our Dental Hygiene Team. We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to work 1 Full Day per week on Thursdays 8-5pm. If you love to educate patients, have a strong passion for dentistry, and can build relationships with patients & team members - this opportunity is for you! Qualifications/Requirements: 2 year (minimum) Dental Hygiene Work Experience 1 year (minimum) Dentrix Knowledge or other Dental Software Strong soft-tissue management skills Must be extremely proficient in the education of oral hygiene & periodontal disease, periodontal treatment, scaling & root planing, and use of ultrasonic Proficient to assist in diagnosis, formulating a treatment plan, and strong follow through skills with a variety of periodontal procedures Certification for Local Anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide Outstanding communication skills A team attitude that brings out the BEST in all those around you Desire to build relationships and trust with patients Positive attitude to overcome common patient objections/rejections Enthusiastic and passionate about patient care, dental/oral care and for our family of patients Ability to multi-task is critical as each day presents rewards and challenges This is a long term 1 day a week opportunity to fill Thursdays, 8-5pm, with Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Dental Coverage, 401K Retirement with Employer Matching and more.
