Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Flowood, MS
Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our dental team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our dental hygienists, helping to ensure smooth patient care and assist with daily office operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping patients maintain their oral health. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, tools, and treatment areas. Take and process dental X-rays. Sterilize and disinfect equipment and work areas. Record patient medical histories and update patient charts. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dental assisting experience is preferred but not required. Must be issued a currently valid Mississippi Radiology permit. Knowledge of dental terminology, office practices, and experience with Dentrix software is a plus. Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain a positive attitude.
