Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and other team members to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional care. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including chairside assisting in general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays, utilizing knowledge of medical imaging techniques. Manage patient records, including medical documentation and medical coding, while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Utilize EMR systems such as Eaglesoft for efficient patient management and documentation. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Experience Candidates should possess relevant experience in a dental clinic environment with a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices. A background in chairside assisting and medical records management will be beneficial for this role.
