Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Omaha, NE

Able to connect with and build relationships with our patients and their families, as well as our team. * A detail oriented person. * An embracer of technology. * Someone that is excited and willing to learn new skills. *JOB DUTIES* -Build close relationships with our orthodontic patients and their families, help keep our patients feeling comfortable and at ease during their procedures, as well as motivate them to take care of their teeth and follow our doctor's recommendations. -Assist Dr. Jones with orthodontic procedures and digital charting. -Under Dr. Jones' direction, our assistants have independence in rendering orthodontic care to patients (wire changes, fitting bands, digital scans, taking x-rays, clinical photos, oral hygiene instructions, etc.). *EDUCATION* High school diploma Dental Assistant Certificate- preferred but not required No orthodontic experience required. We are happy to train the candidate that is the right fit for our practice. *HOURS* Full Time (on average our dental assistants work 34-36 hours per week) Mondays 7:45-3:30, Tuesdays 7:45-5, Wednesdays 7:45-5, Thursdays 8:15-5:30, Fridays 7:45-1* Mondays and Fridays usually alternate off. *PAY AND PERKS* Pay is commensurate with experience.
