Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in North Wales, PA

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant with a valid X-Ray license to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality chairside assistance, ensure patient comfort, take accurate dental radiographs, and support the dental team with clinical and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures. Assist dentists during examinations, cleanings, fillings, and other dental procedures. Take, process, and maintain dental X-rays in compliance with state regulations and safety guidelines. Ensure proper infection control protocols, sterilization, and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment. Provide patient care and comfort before, during, and after treatment. Educate patients on oral hygiene, postoperative care, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as directed. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and assist with front-desk duties when needed. Support the dental team in creating a positive, efficient, and professional environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred. Current and valid Dental X-Ray license (state-specific requirements apply). CPR certification preferred. Prior dental assisting experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
