Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Georgetown, TX
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. This role is essential to delivering excellent patient care and supporting the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas in accordance with infection control standards Take, process, and maintain high-quality dental X-rays while following all safety protocols Accurately document patient information and maintain records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with patient flow, appointment scheduling, and treatment coordination Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions Take vital signs and assist with imaging as needed Support pediatric patients with age-appropriate care and communication Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient daily operations Qualifications & Skills 2-3 years of experience as a chairside Dental Assistant Proficiency with OpenDental software Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures Experience with general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation Familiarity with aseptic techniques and clinical best practices Experience with 3D dental scanners is a plus Knowledge of medical coding is an advantage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
