Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take digital dental x-rays - Perform dental charting and documentation - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant - Dentrix dental software fluency - Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices - Strong understanding of aseptic techniques in a dental setting - digital scanner proficiency necessary Skills: - Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent organizational skills to manage patient records and appointments effectively - Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other dental professionals We offer competitive compensation, including opportunities for professional development.
